What kind of businesses do you support?

Currently we have POS systems in restaurants, bars and take-aways. We also have other types of businesses at a smaller scale. We do not have retail-specific features like bar code scanning and inventory management, yet.

Do I need to run any servers in my business to use iKentoo POS?

No, our solution is fully cloud based and required no additional hardware aside from the iPad to run.

Do I need a wireless network?

Yes for POS configuration and centralized reporting, but once the device is configured it will function normally during internet outages.

Do I need an internet connection?

Yes for POS configuration and centralized reporting, but once the device is configured it will function normally during internet outages.

Where is my data?

Your data is stored on our secure servers and automatically backed up on a regular basis. All data is transmitted in encyrpted form.

If I break my iPad what happens?

You can simply replace it with another, install iKentoo POS app and login and normal operation will resume.

What printers are supported?

We currently support the BlueBamboo bluetooth portable printer as well as most ESC POS compatible printers like the Epson and Star with an ethernet or wifi module installed.

Can the POS print to more than one printer?

Yes we support multiple production centers which enable you to dispatch order tickets to different locations in your restaurant. For example Drinks to the Bar and Food to the kitchen.

Can I get reporting and manage my POS system from anywhere in the world?

Yes, with a comptible web browser your have access to everything anytime anywhere. An iPad/iPod reporting App will be coming soon.
