Mews Systems is a PMS (Property Management System) that helps you manage all operations of your hospitality business, whether it is a hotel, bed & breakfast, guest room, or apartment rental. Mews helps manage online bookings (direct or via OTAs and Channel Managers), room availability, client files (CRM), yield management, etc. The iKentoo integration allows hotels with F&B outlets (in-house restaurants or bars for example) to bill meals or orders to clients’ rooms.
Key characteristics of the integration with Mews Systems
Dedicated payment method set up on the POS to bill meals or orders to clients’ rooms
All transactions by hotel clients are then automatically close and indexed to their room invoice, to be paid at the end of their stay
All transactions on the iKentoo POS are sent to Mews for centralized reporting and accounting, including those by guests who are not staying in the hotel
When setting up or modifying the Mews payment method, you can allow to add tips to orders. If activated, tips will be sent to the PMS and for clients staying at the hotel, billed to the client’s room.
How to integrate Mews Systems with iKentoo
Send an email to Mews mentioning that you are a current or prospective iKentoo client
Provide all required information on your establishment for the initial configuration of the integration
Ensure that all accounting codes in iKentoo correspond to their respective “Accounting Categories” in Mews
Manual activation of the integration by the iKentoo and Mews Systems teams
